Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer,Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu professionally known as Burna Boy took to Twitter to let a few things off his chest.


The 'Like to Party' hitmaker has been in trending following the Grammys Award he has won recently and there are many who have attributed his recognition to fans for projecting and influencing his music career.


The celebrated songwriter took to his Twitter handle to penned down an emotional message stating clearly what is in his heart for the entire world to know and this is what he has tweeted “I’ll never forget how so many of you prayed that I don’t win” as he points out he won the grammys “on his own”


The singer, who won his first Grammy on Sunday night, March 14, for the Best Global Music Album, revealed that he did it on his own and his kids will beat their chest some day and say, ‘Daddy did it on his own.’


He also said he’ll never forget how people prayed for him not to win.
